Anji (Shanghai) Marine Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "our", "us") operates the Anji Marine mobile application ("the App") and this website. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

License verification data. To confirm that your license is valid, the App periodically connects to our server. Each successful verification grants a 12-hour offline grace period so you can continue working during short network outages near ports and terminals. After the grace period expires, the App requires an internet connection to re-verify your license before you can create new calculations or export reports. Your existing calculation history and any projects in progress remain viewable and their data can be copied. Offline access cannot be extended indefinitely. For this purpose we process your license/order identifier, a device identifier and verification timestamps.

Information you provide. Project names, cargo and securing input data, and settings you enter in the App.

Usage & technical data. As of the current version, the App does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. If we enable crash reporting or analytics in a future version, we may receive anonymous technical data such as device model, OS version and error logs.

Contact information. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and message.

2. How we use information

To verify licenses and prevent unauthorized use; to operate the App and provide calculation and report features; to improve the App and fix issues; and to respond to your enquiries.

3. Local processing

Your calculation inputs, projects and generated reports are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your cargo or securing calculation data to our servers. The App connects to our server only to verify your license status as described above.

4. Third-party services

As of the current version, the App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. If we add such services in a future version, we will update this policy and the App's data-safety disclosures before release.

5. Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device can be deleted by you at any time by deleting the App or its data. License verification records are kept only as long as needed for licensing and security purposes. Data we otherwise hold (for example, support correspondence) is kept only as long as necessary.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information transmitted to us.

7. Children

This App is intended for professional maritime use and is not directed to children.
