Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using the Anji Marine application ("the App") and this website you agree to these terms.

2. License & offline grace period

Use of the App requires a valid license. The App periodically verifies your license online. Each successful verification grants a 12-hour offline grace period. After the grace period expires while offline, you cannot create new calculations or export reports until the App can re-verify your license online; existing reports and projects in progress remain viewable and their data may be copied. Offline access is not extended indefinitely and does not extend the term of your license.

3. Engineering tool only — no professional substitute

The App is an engineering assistance tool. Calculation results are based on the input parameters you provide and on the calculation methods, standards and algorithm versions implemented in the App. Results do not replace:

  • on-site inspection and measurement;
  • the vessel's approved stability and stowage documentation;
  • the judgement of the master, responsible officers or qualified lashing supervisors;
  • review and approval by a classification society, flag state, port authority or other statutory body; or
  • the requirements of the cargo owner, carrier, charterer or port.

You are responsible for verifying all input data (cargo weight, centre of gravity, dimensions, deck and securing-point capacity, lashing gear condition and ratings, sea area and expected motions) and for obtaining professional review before relying on any result.

4. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that results are error-free or fit for any particular voyage, vessel or cargo.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anji (Shanghai) Marine Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or claim arising from use of, or reliance on, the App or its outputs.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its content and this website are owned by us or our licensors.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles.
